For Fans of: Four Year Strong, New Found Glory, Hit The Lights, Trellison

Style: COTS is the latest group to join the melodic hardcore scene, and with a self-proclaimed love of punk, and a satisfaction with fans' comparisons to Four Year Strong, COTS is willing to embrace their fan appointed comparisons and genre designation in an attempt to bring the so-called "Easy-Core" to the forefront of the Pop-Punk scene.

Bio: Like most artists in the Pop, Rock, Punk genre we grew up idolizing bands such as Blink 182, Saves The Day, NOFX and Greenday. That love progressively shifted towards more melodic and lyrically focused music such as Sunny Day Real Estate and Mineral. Somewhere along the line that love progressed even further and became more of a passion than anything else. And like most dedicated, passionate, and some would say, obsessed individuals, we decided to make the most of our obsession and express our own artistic abilities through the same means as our previously mentioned influences. This naturally led to countless now defunct bands that have ultimately led to what's now known as Call Off The Search. COTS isn't above being categorized or labeled, because every artist whether they admit or not is a part of a category or derives some of their musical influence from some origin. And it's whether or not you embrace those comparisons and make the most of them that really matters. And with comparisons like Four Year Strong and Hit The Lights, we have a lot to live up to.
